National Puppy Day 23rd March
27th February, 2023
Established in 2006, National Puppy Day is a paw-some day for all dog enthusiasts to celebrate unconditional love and fawn over the undeniably cute furballs that bring so much happiness into this world. While we’re all softies when it comes to our four-legged friends, National Puppy Day is also designed to raise awareness about puppy mills and help prospective pet owners consider adoption.
Take a look at all the ways we can celebrate our puppies:
There are lots of ways to pamper puppies. A five-star spa treatment, for example, would be perfect. Give your puppy a comforting (dog friendly!) bubble bath and then end the treatment with a luscious grooming session.
Clear your diary and spend a whole day with your dog with full attention, love, and care.
Socializing your puppy is not only for fun but a key part of their behavioural development. Ask a family member or friend with a pup to meet outside and let your pups play together!
If you’re not planning an adventure why not spoil your puppy at home with some fresh new toys? As your puppy starts to grow, they’ll need some toys to direct their teething and puppy energy!
Pick up a bag of your dog’s favourite treats, try a new dog friendly recipe, or spoil them with some extra treats!
